Our Journey
IIE, Innovative Industrial Engineering was founded in 2008 in Lebanon under the name I-IMPEX Trading & Engineering, initially specializing in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) contracting. Through continuous growth and technical development, the company evolved into a full-service turnkey contractor, delivering integrated solutions that cover design, execution, and long-term maintenance.
By 2013, IIE expanded its international footprint to Greece, successfully delivering major projects in Athens, Corfu, and Mykonos across the commercial, hospitality, and public sectors. These projects strengthened the company’s expertise in managing complex developments while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
In 2023, the company entered the Saudi Arabian market under its current identity, Innovative Industrial Engineering (IIE), marking a new chapter of regional expansion aligned with the Kingdom’s ambitious development agenda. Today, IIE actively supports Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to infrastructure development, sustainable construction practices, energy efficient systems, and long-term asset optimization across the Kingdom.
Under Vision 2030, IIE’s role extends beyond project delivery to supporting national priorities such as local capability development, private sector participation, and sustainable economic growth. By leveraging its international experience from Lebanon and Greece, and combining it with strong local execution in Saudi Arabia, IIE delivers engineering and construction solutions that meet today’s requirements while supporting the Kingdom’s future ambitions.
With a proven track record of more than 300 successfully executed projects, IIE’s portfolio includes hospitals, schools, hotels, museums, palaces, and government facilities across the Middle East and Europe.
